We are a Belize City based operation, who with our sister companies, Hugh Parkey's Belize Dive Connection and Fort Street Restaurant and Guest House, offer a wide range of the best excursions and activities available. Our priorities are the comfort and safety of our clients, with a strong emphasis on service. Groups and individuals are welcome. Itineraries can be customized to suit. Our office is open 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. We are closed only one day a year, 21st September, when we celebrate Belizean Independence. Guides All guides are licensed and English speaking (most speak Spanish as well). These are knowledgeable individuals who will enhance your experience with their enthusiasm. What do you pay for? Rates are subject to change. Payment Policy Deposits A deposit of US$100.00 is required on all services requested, within 14 days of the date of that request. Payment of the balance should be cleared not later than 30 days before the client's arrival date. Groups will be required to deposit 25% on receipt of confirmation. A further 25% deposit will be due no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. The balance in full will be due 30 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellation, changes & Refunds All requests for changes or cancellations must be in writing. Up to two changes will be processed at no extra charge. For each subsequent change, there will be a US$10.00 fee. Cancellations will be refunded as follows:
No shows will be charged full amount of total bill. Group cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to arrival date will be charge US$100.00 plus any charges from any airline, ground operator, hotel or other vendor for that cancellation. For cancellations received less than 90 days and more than 45 days prior to the arrival date, a fee of US$500.00, plus any of the afore-mentioned penalties will be charged. For cancellations occurring less than 45 days prior to the arrival date will be dealt with on an individual basis. Currency and Credit Cards The exchange rate for the U.S. Dollar is fixed at BZ$2 .00 for US$1.00. U.S currency is accepted just about everywhere, so it unnecessary to exchange money. Master Card & Visa are the most commonly accepted credit cards. American Express and Discovery to a lesser degree. Documentation A valid passport is required for travelers entering Belize. British and Commonwealth citizens and those of the U.S.A. and the E.U. who hold return or onward tickets, do not require visas. Visitors from most other countries require visas. Responsibility & Conditions Jaguar Adventures Tours & Travel has limited responsibility and acts only as an agent for the passengers in regards to travel whether by motorcoach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other conveyance. Jaguar Adventures Tours & Travel cannot accept liability or responsibility for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by acts of God, fire, breakdown of machinery, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil unrest, strikes, riots, pilferage, epidemics, customs regulations or any other incident. Jaguar Adventures Tours & Travel cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from incorrect documents or additional expenses due to delay or changes of schedules or other causes. The right is reserved to decline any passenger should such a person's health or general demeanor impede the operation of the services to the detriment of other passengers. Jaguar Adventures Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule an itinerary as may be deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour or package, either before departure or en route. Baggage is carried at the passengers own risk. The acceptance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be the passengers consent to the above conditions.
